3. Implement

Implementing your personal Plan for Therapeutic Lifestyle Change is all about learning how to make healthier choices day-by-day. It's simple, but it's not always easy. It takes time and effort.

Fortunately, your local OptiHealth Coach with a whole team of certified Lifestyle Medicine volunteers is available to help you develop the lifestyle and achieve the level of health you desire -- your optimal level of health.

To provide the help that you may need, your Optihealth Coach conducts free, weekly "CrossTalks," which are open TLC Therapy Groups. Attending 12 or so of these free CrossTalks (over the course of 3-6 months) will give you the tools and opportunities to develop the skills you may need for successful Therapeutic Lifestyle Change.

Talking with different people with similar health issues, but who are at different stages of change and working through a variety of health behaviors has proven to be highly effective for both motivation and skill building.

Once you are successful in achieving one change, each successive change that you choose to tackle gets even easier. Of course, as a participant in OptiHealth, you are always welcome to continue with our free services and repeat the TLC process for as many Therapeutic Lifestyle Changes that you want to make.
