Faith
How “faith healing” really works.
The Bible explains this process to simply trust and obey, and the blessings will follow:
- God, as our Creator, knows what is best for us, and He knows how to make and keep us healthy.
- Although God is our “Great Physician,” He does not instantly restore our bodies/brain upon request.
- God has given us free will. He respects our choices. We reap what we sow (Job 4:8).
- What kind of seed are you sowing? It is never too late/early to start making better choices.
- In His infinite love, God does not leave us in our wretchedness (Proverbs 14:12; Revelation 3:17).
- God wants to be in a personal saving relationship with each of us (John 3:16-17).
- To accept God’s invitation and enter into a personal saving relationship with Him, all we need to do is to commit ourselves to knowing and trusting God.
- The only way to know God is through His Son, Jesus Christ. (The Way/Truth/Life, John 14:6; John 17:3).
- We come to know Christ through faith.
- Our faith in Christ grows by reading and obeying (doing, experiencing) God's Word.
- As we come to know/trust Christ, we learn how to better demonstrate our faith/trust in Him by simply obeying His health laws (Exodus 23:25) – which are not grievous – but victorious! (1 John 5:3-4)
- Christ is faithful in healing and strengthening us through His daily “TLC.”
- TLC = Tender Loving Care = Therapeutic Lifestyle (body and mind) Change (Romans 12:1-2; Philippians 2:5).
- Overtime and in relationship, Christ restores our body, mind, and spirit gradually – naturally.
- As our health improves, our faith/trust in Christ (and in His ways) increases. (3 John 1:2)
- We draw closer to Christ and become more and more empowered to live in harmony with His will.
- The same learning/transforming process applies to trusting/obeying God’s moral laws, as well.
- “The just (righteous – those that do right) shall live (follow God’s ways) by faith.” (Romans 1:16-17)
- The devoted Christian lifestyle is FAITH at WORK in LOVE for GOD! (John 14:21).
- If we choose to fully trust God with our whole life and soul (being) in obedience to Him, God promises health and happiness and holiness on this earth (up to 120 years), AND a life with Him for all eternity (Revelation 3:20-21).
- That life starts here and now by making that choice today and every day that follows. (Rev. 3:12).
- Only after you make that choice and enter into such a personal, trusting, saving relationship with God (through Jesus Christ, His only begotten Son) and start realizing the life/health-enhancing changes in your life/body/brain/heart, will you be compelled to gladly and convincingly share your new strength and growing faith in love and devotion for the merciful, true, and living God.
