This is a comprehensive blood panel including over 50 individual laboratory tests to provide a thorough Biochemical Assessment of your health. This profile includes tests to evaluate the function of your Heart, Blood, Liver, kidneys, Thyroid, and Bones as well as a diagnostic test for Diabetes.
Fasting is required for 12 hours prior to your blood draw at a local CLIA-approved site. We have over 4,000 sites nation-wide. Instructions and a list of locations near you will be provided. You'll have direct online access to your results usually within 1-2 business days. Storage of and access to your results are HIPAA compliant.
Tests include:
Heart (Cholesterol): This group of blood tests reveals important information about the types, amount, and distribution of various types of fats (lipids) in your bloodstream, which can affect your risks for cardio-(heart)-vascular-(blood vessel) diseases. Tests include Total Cholesterol, HDL (good) Cholesterol, LDL (bad) Cholesterol, Risk Ratio (Total:HDL), and Triglycerides.
Blood (CBC): This group of blood tests screens for a variety of diseases and disorders, such as diabetes, anemia, infection, electrolytes (Chloride, Potassium, Sodium, and Carbon Dioxide), and your immune system. Tests include: Hemoglobin, Hematocrit, Platelets, Red Blood Cells (RBC), Mean Corpuscular Volume (MCV), Mean Corpuscular Hemoglobin (MCH) and Concentration (MCHC), Red Cell Distribution Width (RDW), White Blood Cells (WBC), plus counts and maturation of your Neutrophils, Lymphocytes, Monocytes, Eosinophils, Basophils, and Granulocytes, which reflect immune function.
Liver: This group of blood tests helps evaluate liver function by measuring the amounts and ratios of various hepatic (liver) enzymes and other metabolic by-products. Tests include Albumin, Alkaline Phosphatase, Alanine Transaminase (ALT or SGPT), Aspartate Transaminase (AST or SGOT), Total Bilirubin, Total Protein, Lactate Dehydrogenase (LDH), Total Globulin, Albumin/Globulin Ratio, and Gamma-Glutamyl Transpeptidase (GGT), which also reflect nutritional status.
Kidneys: Along with the electrolytes (Chloride, Potassium, Sodium, and Carbon Dioxide), this group of blood tests help evaluate your renal (kidney) function. Tests include Blood Urea Nitrogen (BUN), Creatinine, BUN/Creatinine Ratio, estimated Glomerular Filtration Rate (eGFR), and Uric Acid.
Thyroid: This group of blood tests helps evaluate your thyroid function. Tests include: Thyroid Stimulating Hormone (TSH), T-3 Uptake, Thyroxine (T4), and the Total, Free Thyroxine Index (T7).
Bone (Mineral): This group of blood tests helps evaluate bone metabolism. Tests include Total Iron, Calcium, and Phosphorus.
Diabetes: Your fasting Blood Glucose test indicates the amount of sugar in your blood when you are in a fasting state, which is the best way to detect if you are at risk of developing diabetes.
